Entrevista con Mikkel, Cryoshell

Mensaje por Reaper el Lun Abr 04, 2011 3:22 pm

Algo con lo que disfrutar en tiempos de sequía =)

La entrevista en inglés:
Spoiler:
Q: On XXXXXXXX there is an event "1000 Members on Cryoshell: The Fan Page" The schedule is in Denmark? What will be on XXXXXXXX that day?(old question)

A: The XX fan page is edited by our trusted friends, Sorano & co. We do not control it.

Q: What ideas have your songs been influenced guys? Your past, religious ideas, stories, myths? I think quite a few of us are interested in this.

A: The songs of Cryoshell are all linked to our personal life and experiences. E.g. Creeping in my Soul deals with self-reconciliation and the loss of someone special to you. Closer To The Truth is about loneliness, The Room is about trying to exist without the one you thought loved you etc. Hopefully the lyrics will be open and universal enough for everyone to make their own interpretation.

Q: Did you guys come up with the mythos about the Cryoshell Organism on your own? If you did, what factors influenced the lore?

A: The mythology was devised by Christian Faber.

Q: What guitars/amps/equipment do you use?

A: Look up Hansen Studios. He has the list:)

Q: When you recorded your first song (as a band), were you nervous? How did you think it would turn out?

A: CIMS was the first track. We tried many different singers and finally settled with Christine (Lore). She was quite nervous :-)

Q: Exactly what genre would you consider your music to be?

A: Love metal

Q: How did the band come together? Did you record any songs prior to Creeping in my Soul?

A: The band was initially me. Then I found Lore and finally we contacted Kasper. We haven't made music together before in this constallation.

Q: What was your favourite song to compose?

A: Personally I think it was Closer To the Truth and Gravity Hurts. I also enjoyed doing CIMS and the Room.

Q. Do you plan to go on tour any time soon?

A: Yes ;-)

Q: Which one of the songs are your favorite as a band?

A: see above

Q: How did "Cryoshell" start out?

A: see above

Q: What did you think about BIONICLE when you first started working with it? Did you approach the LEGO company or did the LEGO company approach you on the matter of you working for them? Did you enjoy working with BIONICLE?

A: I was contacted by Lego and composed CIMS for them. I had completely free hands to do what I wanted. They liked the results and we started and longer collaboration.

Q: Are you planning to make more albums?

A: Actually Lore is pregnant and we are currently looking for a new lead singer. Anyone?

Q: Have you gained popularity when you stopped with Bionicle music.

A: I think a lot of new fans don't know the relationship to Lego.

Q: Are there fans who aren't fan because of Bionicle?

A: Don't know

Q: Were you expecting to be such a successful band when you started?

A: Well, we still wish to conquer the world ;-)

Q:Did any of you guys own/owned any LEGO products when you were kids, and if so did it influence your decision to work with LEGO?

A: I was a huge Lego fanatic as a kid and that did not hurt my decision.

Q: There had been a rumor of sorts stating that you were going to remake Face Me and Gravity Hurts in your new album. Though Face Me and Gravity Hurts were not in the album, do you have plans to remake those songs and release them in a future album?

A: Maybe. We will see ...

Q: What exactly is the problem you're having with an international release? (old question)

A: The album is on iTunes world wide and on CD in Japan and Scandinavia.

Q: Will you be doing music for Hero Factory or any other Lego theme?

A: Secret

Q: Do you expect to release anymore songs this year?

A: maybe

Q: Do you enjoy being musicians?

A: It is the next best thing ...

Q: Do you plan to release more songs on ITunes?

A: Yes

Q: How long do you think Cryoshell's succses will last?

A: hmmm

Q: How long do you plan to be a band?

A: see above

Q: Do you plan to do song featuring other artists(like the Black Eyed Peas)?

A: Well, we have not discussed that with the BEP, but who knows.

Q: Are you sad that BIONICLE has ended?

A: I think we should concentrate more on the music.

Q: Do you think your work with Bionicle was one of the main things that jumpstarted your outside success?

A: I think so yes

Q: If you had the opportunity to work more with Lego, would you?

A: Secret

Q: Did you, while working with Bionicle, ever pick up on the storyline or continue to follow it afterwards?

A: We might have worked in a couple of elements from time to time. I will not tell you which ...

Q: Do you know if there is any planning, of if it will happen that LEGO does not bring back BIONICLE with new figures after Hero Factory, but that they will produce all the series already created? Because actually, many people thought that they changed series too fast, and I so much need all the sets. Plase make them do it, if you'll ever meet them again, because Hero Factory's plot is bad. I need to make stop motion movies based on the comics, books, movies and the short stories and podcasts by Greg Farshtey, and as good as Patrick Boivin's BIONICLE Battle Videos/STARS ;D (The preceding unsigned comment was made by Luka1184)

A: Don't know guys Sad

Cripeando en mi Alma, Closer a la Verdad, Chao Babilonia, Trigger, Feed, Murky, Falling, The Room, Come to My Heaven y No More Words.
